In the second cross country meet of the year, senior runner Jeff Simonich won the men's division at the Colorado State Invitational on Saturday finishing the 8 kilometer race in 24:48.18. This is the second race this season he has won. In the women' s division, the top finisher for the Utes was junior Johanna Nielsen running the 5 kilometer race in 17:57.83. This too was Johanna' s second fourth place finish of the season. Both the men and women took fourth overall out of the seven schools that competed. |
