| Description | Stain: Immunoperoxidase staining using diaminobenzidin (DAB)/ hematoxylin counterstained on frozen section with antibodies to B cells (Mark 1), CD3 and CD8 T cells. (A): B cells in the follicles, germinal centres (2) and corona are stained positive brown, while the PALS area (1) is negative (blue). (B): About half of the lymphocytes in the PALS area (1) are stained brown positively. The B cell areas (2) are negative (blue). (C): About half of the lymphocytes in the PALS area (1) are stained positively, while the B cell area (2) remains unstained. Both B cells and T cells are reduced 4-8 days after the cyclophosphamide treatment. Cyclophosphamide causes temporarily severe immunosupression. |
