Description Lyme disease is a multi-organ systemic infectious disease caused by Borrelia burgdorferi. Neuro-ophthalmic manifestations include papilledema, papillitis, retrobulbar neuritis and neuroretinitis. Using strict diagnostic criteria modified from the CDC surveillance criteria, there are very few cases of Lyme' optic neuropathy (other than papilledema) in literature. We present the clinical, serological and radiological characteristics of a patient with Lyme neuroretinitis.'
