Description The use of apraclonidine is increasing in the pharmacological confirmation of Horner syndrome. The diagnosis is confirmed with the reversal of anisocoria due to adrenergic supersensitivity in the affected pupil. Reversal of ptosis is also described. The effects of chronic use as treatment to the ptosis have not been reported.
