Description | Lyle Glenn Murray is pictured his sophomore year at Uintah High School. He was born to Jeremiah Hatch and Rachel Ellen Merkley Murray in 1910. He married Marinda Hall in 1932. He was a rancher, farmer and stockman. He worked with the youth as a 4-H leader and serverd on the Stock Show Committee, Fair board and was on the BLM Advisory Board. He served as a water commissioner for the Burns Bench Canal, President for the Burton Ditch Board. and on the Board for the Maeser-Island Ditch. He is the father of nine children, Deanna, Saralynn, Mary, Meriel, Marinda, Robert O., Billy, David, and Joseph Glenn. He died on November 13, 1988 and is buried in the Dry Fork Cemetery in Uintah County, Utah. |
