| Description |
Multiple myeloma (MM) is a malignant plasma cell dyscrasia typically confined to the bone marrow. Extramedullary MM is rare, but can affect the eye, orbit, and ocular adnexa. Optic neuropathy and ocular motor mononeuropathies have been reported as Neuro-ophthalmic presentations of MM. To our knowledge, there are no reported MM cases presenting with transient visual obscurations (TVOs). We describe a case of MM presenting with unilateral TVOs secondary to increased intracranial pressure. |
