Stroke like migraine attacks after radiation therapy (SMART) is a rare complication that can occur years or decades after cranial radiation. This syndrome is a diagnosis of exclusion with only about 40 prior published cases. It is critical for physicians to recognize SMART and rule out other etiologies. Here we present a case of a 55 year old man 9 years after radiation therapy with new headache and visual changes. |
