Description Germinomas are the most common type of germ cell tumors and clinical presentation predominantly depends on tumor location and neuro-ophthalmic presentations are common in the pineal (e.g., dorsal midbrain syndrome) and suprasellar (e.g., visual loss) regions. Intracranial dysgerminoma can be focal or multifocal. Thus, multifocal lesions can produce neurologic and radiographic signs and symptoms that appear to be 'separated in time and space' and can mimic the clinical and radiographic presentations of CNS inflammatory or demyelinating disease (e.g., multiple sclerosis).
