UHS Home Economics Club

These photographs were taken for the 1943-1944 edition of the Uintah High School Yearbook. They are located on page 36. The photo in the upper left corner is of the officers of the Home Economics Club. In no particular order: Lila Shiner (president), Illa Atwood (vice-president), Lela Slaugh (secretary), and Elain Gardiner (reporter). The photograph in the upper right corner is of an unidentified member of the faculty. It might possibly be Madge Harris Tuckett, who was the advisor for the club. The photo's caption is: "Madame Bluebeard". The photograph on the bottom half of the page is of the students in the Home Economics club. The 5th to the 8th person from the right on the second row appear to be the same as the officers of the Home Economics Club (SEE the photo in the upper left corner of this same page.) The other girls in the photograph are unidentified.
