Description Central retinal artery occlusion (CRAO) requires prompt recognition.1 A recent study of cerebral MRI at the time of CRAO demonstrated diffusion-weighted imaging hyperintensity (DWI-H) suggesting acute ischemia in the retina or optic nerve.2 We aimed to determine whether such results are reproducible on routine MRI obtained during CRAO workup.
