Description Vision abnormalities and central nervous system disorders are common consequences of systemic hypoxia, which can occur in the setting of cardiopulmonary disease, high-altitude exposure, COVID-19, and other conditions.1-4 In this study, we profiled retinal and plasma changes at two time points after severe hypoxia in order to understand why visual alterations occur.
