Description |
Residence of Jens Peter Benson. Located across the road from the south east corner of the town square (12 West 100 South, Newton, UT). There being little timber on the west side of the valley, and there being no bridge across the Bear river, a lime rock quarry was developed very early. The quarry is about 1/2 mile west of Newton. |
