Description |
Sketch of Pipe Springs, or Winsor Castle, by Alb Tissard, a visiting Frenchman to the Springs in 1881. The small shacks in the foreground were constructed prior to the fort and were living quarters while the fort was being built. The figure in the upper left corner is probably Anson Perry Winsor. Used in the UHQ, Summer 1966. |
