Image shows (left to right) Amos Burg, Haldene "Buzz" Holmstrom, and Willis Johnson. Burg's boat "Charlie" was the first inflatable craft to make a trip from Greev River Lakes, Wyoming to Lake Mead. Holmstrom's boat "Julius F." made the first solo run of the Colorado in 1937 and on this trip became the first to run every rapid on the river. |
