First Presbyterian Church and Salt Lake Collegiate Institute

This photograph is a view from across a dirt road of First Presbyterian Church. The church has towers topped by turrets. One of the towers in the front (left side) is over-sized compared to its companion on the right. The church has a metal fence around it, and a gas street lantern in front of it. The Octagon building complex--both the octagonal structure that gives it it's name as well as the two story structure and the hallway between them--can be seen next to it. At the right of the Octagon complex, a one-story building is partially visible. Bare trees are scattered over the picture, and a telephone pole rises up beside a horse and buggy in the lower right corner. To the left of the photo, a man rides on another horse into the scene.
