Description |
Cerebrovascular disease in pregnancy is responsible for more than 12% of maternal deaths and for 3.5 to 26% of instances of neurologic dysfunction per 100,000 deliveries. It poses challenges to the clinicians because of the difficulty in diagnosing the underlying etiology as well as the potential fetal toxicity of diagnostic testing and treatment (373). |
