Subject High Intracranial Pressure/Headache; Diagnostic Tests (ERG, VER, OCT, HRT, mfERG, etc); Neuroimaging
Description Studies over the past 20 years indicate the presence of venous sinus stenosis mostly at the junction of the transverse and sigmoid sinuses in 30-93% of patients with IIH. This finding may indicate that bilateral venous stenosis IIH requires more immediate therapy management such as earlier stenting or aggressive medical management. The purpose of this study is to evaluate if there is a relationship between intracranial pressure and presence of unilateral vs bilateral central venous sinus stenosis on MRV in adolescent patients. In addition, this study will correlate opening pressure with RNFL thickness and papilledema grade.
