Show THE CHURCH REVIEW <br><br> PEOPLE'S GOSPEL MISSION. <br><br> Christmas was a jolly day for the "Sunbeams." At 2 p. m. sixty-five marched to the parlors of the First M. E. church, where they were entertained by Deaconess Burton, assisted by Miss Gould and others. At 4 p. m. the Christmas entertainment began at the Mission. One hundred and sixty boys and girls with happy hearts and bright faces were there. The decorations were beautiful and the gifts numerous. There were sixty-five pounds of candy, twenty pounds of nuts, three dozen oranges, eighteen dolls, one dozen boy's caps, six girl's hoods, and little presents by the score. <br> The hall was photographed, making a beautiful picture 11x14. You can have one for 50c. <br> We desire to thank the ladies who sent in clothing before Christmas, all of which has been given out to the needy. Among those who contributed were, Mrs. Peyton, Mrs. H. W. Brown, Mrs. Dr. Yant, Miss Anna Griffin and others who did not give us their names. <</descri> <call>This page consists of an article and advertisements.
