Typescript of the "Journal of Thomas Morris," with opening summary: Memorandum book with some useful observations on my ways and travels, together with my dreams and other remarks, from November 1849 ‘till February, 1851." Includes a journey from Salt Lake City to southern California "in company with a heavy train belonging to a Mr. Pomeroy." From San Pedro, he took a ship north to San Francisco and went to the gold country. Includes two poems he wrote. |
