Concrete Ditch Lining. South Box Elder Conservation District. Owner: M. Shio. Northeast of Brigham City, Utah. Mr. Shio has approximately half his ditch concrete lined. The water formerly took one hour and forty minutes to reach the farm, and now it takes forty minutes. Mr. Shio said it is expensive but saves time and water. (It cost him $0.55 per foot. Length, 1600 feet). Date: 7/17/52. (U.S. Soil Conservation Service). |
