Carter Geologists reach the top of the West Tavaputs, a 10,000 high plateau on the Rim of the Uinta Basin, The area, familiar to many Uintah County residents, lies between Myton and Sunnyside. Phillip A. Williams, J.L. Walker, and R.E. Covington conducted a geologic reconnaissance work on the southwest rim of the Tavaputs in Southern Uintah County and Northern Carbon County. |
