Description Membranes of human thoracic duct lymphocytes were used in the production of an equine ALS. The initial horse serum was purified on a DEAE cellulose column. Then analysis of the different type protein present in the ALG revealed that the IgG was contaminated with IgT, Bl-globulin, and transferrin. The percentage of transferrin present in the ALG was determined by separation of the ALG on a G-200 fine column. The contamination was less than 1.2% in the pooled fractions.
