Show THE CHURCH REVIEW
PRESBYTERIAN.
VOL. 3./SALT LAKE, UTAH, DECEMBER 30, 1894./No. 1.

FIRST PRESBYTERIAN.

With much regret we record the fact that Mrs. Hobbs expects to leave here on Monday to take up her residence in Oberlin, Ohio. She finds that the altitude of this region is too great for her. Although a member of this church only a little more than a year and a half, and absent some months of that time, she has made her earnest Christian influence felt by activity in Christian work. A church made up entirely of members animated by a similar earnest missionary spirit would be a mighty power. May the Lord's protecting presence and blessing accompany her and her children to her new home.
Mrs. Kate W. Greene expects to leave the first of the week for a sojourn of two or three months in Iowa, She is another one whose absence will be greatly missed in the church on account of her Christian activity. May the Lord bring her back in due time well and strong. |
