Description Diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) is a common clinical entity associated with a host of complications. To our knowledge, transient blindness has yet to be reported. We report a 54 year old male with insulin dependent diabetes mellitus and alcohol abuse who presented acutely with DKA.
