Description |
Tearing down some of Delta's first businesses to make way for a new First Security Bank Building. On the right is the old Banque Hotel, James A. Kelley Investment Company building. Building on left was once the Peck's Grocery. Settled in 1906, and first called Akin, then Burtner, Melville, and finally Delta, the area owes such of its growth to several irrigation projects and a successful land development campaign. |
