Barge at Flaming Gorge. Drilling rig being installed on top of barge at dam site. Drillers determine rock conditions for formation of proposed dam. Barge Driller--this shows a drilling rig being installed in the barge at Flaming Gorge damsite. The barge is anchored at various drilling sites in the swift flowing river. Casing is set until rock is encourntered. Two other drilling crews work in the rock abutments. |
