The group is standing in the arched doorway of the Institute, with the name in large letters above the door. All of the men are dressed in dark suites. Some of them have bow ties. While others have long ties or not ties at all. The women are dressed in a variety of dresses or skirts and blouses. There is vegetation on the side of the building and part of a "Keep of Lawns" sign can be seen between two men and the far right side of the photograph. The intricate brickwork on the building can also be seen in the photograph.
