Description Idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH) is a condition seen in obese women of childbearing years. Its etiology is unknown. Recently, two studies have shown that serum vitamin A levels are frequently elevated in this population. We set out to determine whether Vitamin A could be found in the CSF of patients with IIH.
