| Description |
J.H. Holeman describes tension between Indians and whites following the construction of a bridge and the establishment of a ferry across Green River. Holeman forwards a letter from A. Willson in which Wilson encourages Holeman to take action to stop any possible Indian attacks. In order to ease tensions, Holeman informs the Indians that the Mormons will temporarily halt the construction of the bridge. Holeman asks for Lea's advice about how to proceed with the matter. Holeman also asks for Lea's advice regarding liquor permits |
