Description |
Along all the major tribuary streams of the Upper Colorado River, the remains left by many centuries of Indian history can be found. Cave and overhang locations were generally favored for settlement. Fence Ruin, a small Pueblo III habitation on a ledge in the wall of Moqui Canyon. The structures are situated at the center of the photograph above the excavator who is descending by a rope.
