Description Conflicting reports exist describing the presence of ?-amyloid and distribution of lens opacification in post-mortem cataracts in patients with Alzheimer disease [1, 2]. The purpose of this study was to quantitatively examine the morphology of cataracts in individuals with and without positive molecular biomarkers for Alzheimer disease (AD).
