This photograph is a copy of the original and is in very good condition. On the back of the photograph, inscribed in pen, is: "Walter F. Myers," "Walter F. Myers, Jr.," "1942-1943". There is also yellow adhesive brushed on the back of the photo. Myers served as the Acting Dean of Westminster College from September 1, 1942 to June 30, 1943, and as the Dean of the College from September 1, 1943, to June 30, 1944. From 1937 to the time he resigned as Dean, Myers also taught Political Science and History at Westminster College. He held an E.M., a B.D., and an M.A, and attended Lehigh University, Yale University, and Columbia University. He resigned in 1944 due to his wife's failing health and desire to complete his Ph.D. After leaving Westminster, Myers taught at LaVerne Junior College. |
