Leading the way for Utah were Nellie Hammons, Torin Koos, Colby Frazier and Jeff Davidson. Hammons finished fifth in the 800 meters with a time of 2:09.71 and won the 1,500 meters with a time of 4:34.90. Hammon's 800 meters performance was another NCAA qualifying mark for the sophomore. Frazier finished seventh in the 1,500 meters with a time 3:48.33, which was an NCAA qualifying mark. Davidson got Utah's third NCAA qualifying mark by placing second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:07.66. Koos second in the 800 meters with a time of 1:52.98. |
