Description |
Original adobe St. George Post Office, the first post office built in Utah. Unique in the establishment of St. George was the provision for a post office and appointment of Orson Pratt as postmaster, even before the city was surveyed, lots drawn and occupied, in 19862, the pioneers arriving in December 1861. |
