This was the lead float in the Utah Centennial Parade in Vernal, Utah. It was titled "Daughters of the Utah Pioneers." The girl in the photo stood on the left side of the float. Her name was Marva Walker. The business in the background is the J.C. Penney Company. Note the Utah Centennial banners hanging from the building in the background.
