Park, first president of the University of Utah. Materials collected by Joseph Lafayette Rawlins' daughter, Alta R. Jensen, for her book The Unfavored Few. Joseph L. Rawlins helped organize the first Democratic Party in Utah, served as the first territorial delegate to the U.S House of Representatives, and later served in the U.S. Senate.
