Dear Sir:- Answering your letter of April 25th to our Ilion Factory requesting certain information about an article alleged to be published by this Company during the past year describing the fight during the fall of 1880 near Moab, Utah, when Joseph K. Wilson was shot by the Indians. We tried to find if we have published this article but we are unable to obtain any information which would enable us to tell you definitely that we did publish such an article. Could you give us more details to enable us to locate this article? At any rate we do not seem to have any record of it and while we are anxious to help you in every way possible to get to the facts we appear to be helpless for the moment without some definite clews to work on.
