Further Information |
This photograph is in fair condition. Ripples' running the width of the photo is its most noticeable flaw. There are also various indents from handling and the bottom right edge has almost been ripped away. Bamberger was completed in 1969 and was part of the 1967 building plan instigated by President Manford A. Shaw. The purpose of the hall was to provide a permanent home for the administration who before hand had been bounced around from one campus facility to the other such as Converse Hall, Ferry Hall, and even Foster Hall for a small period of time after the Converse Hall fire of 1926. As of December 2003 Bamberger Hall serves as the administration hub for Westminster College. It houses the office for the President, the Academic Vice President, Financial Aid, Register's Office, Cashier's, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Institutional Advancement, Purchasing, Payroll, Plant Operations, Admissions, Alumni Relations, and Human Resources.
