Description |
Joseph I. Smith and Leonard J. Smith built their manufacturing plant on the old Canyon Road in Ogden, Utah, where they had their own water power and lighting system. The wholesale manufacturing firm produced mattresses and comforters and later branched out with couches and drapery. By 1900, from their headquarters at 2277 Washington Avenue, they were offering "steam carpet cleaning." |
