Description |
Started by Irvin Robinson in the early years of World War I, Trachyte Ranch has been active for many years. Beyond the corrals of the ranch, the old house shows next to the road. A newer house is behind the fruit tree. Between the line of the field and the badlands, Trachyte Creek cuts a ceep trench. Mt. Hillers rises to 10, 723 feet beyond. The ranch is at about 5,000 ft. It is now owned by George Wilgamot. Gift of Utah Tourist & Publicity Dept. Credit: Parker Hamilton, Flagstaff, Ariz (Photographer) (Southeastern Utah) Used in U.H.Q., Summer, 1964.
