Stage Station -- Duchesne River. Courtesy: Utah Power & Light Co. Hartford "Harry" G. Clark ran the station before Odekirk and again in 1903. Isaac William Odekirk ran the Duchesne Mail Station around 1900. Preston Odekirk is in the arms of Mrs. Odekirk in doorway, Preston was born in 1901. Myton, Utah. Called "The Bridge". Duchesne Bridge, 1901, now Myton. I.W. Odekirk bought of Harry Clark buildings for $400.00 November 25, 1900. Preston Odekirk born here September 1901. I.W. Odekirk moved here in spring of 1900. In photo: I.W. Odekirk, Hannah Odekirk, Preston Odekirk (baby), Harry Clark, one person unknown. |
