| Description |
Ranger Rodger Brask stands in Brown's Cove and points toward Hansbrough's inscription. When this picture was taken on May 27, 1964, a low flow of less than 100 cfs exposed much bank detail that normally is under water. The river volume was 15 to 20 times greater on July, 10, 1889 when Brown failed to swim out of this eddy. Photo by : P.T.Reilly. |
