8641 Amasa Lyman Home, San Bernardino, California. This could be before 1853, the house burned down after 1857. Donated to Melvin Smith by Hazel E. Olson, Colton, California. Mrs. Olson later writes: "Wozencraft home in San Bernardino, formerly home of Mormon Elder Amasa Lyman and his 5 wives. Photographed in 1863 by R.D. Hereux. House was demolished to make way for the courthouse." This caption used in a book on San Bernardino. |
