Oral history interview with Ted Kindred by Darren Edwards

Ted briefly describes his relocation from Missouri to Utah as a management consultant with Thiokol, when the company first built a plant in Utah in 1956. He has lived in Utah ever since. Ted discusses Logan Canyon and how it has changed over the years, as well as family property up the canyon and his involvement with St. Anne's Catholic retreat. Ted also reflects on taking French visitors to Bear Lake for swimming and his interactions with a Native American friend, James Holy Eagle. He also reflects on his career with Thiokol and subsequent retirement from the company as well as his work in local history. Ted discusses various Logan Canyon land uses such as recreation and retreats for different groups of people such as a writer's project, heritage farming, and elk festivals.
