Marriner S. Eccles, correspondence related to Beckoning Frontiers [13]

Correspondence of Marriner S. Eccles related to his 1951 autobiography, Beckoning Frontiers. Most of the letters, all from 1952, are requests for copies and comments on its contents as well as Mr. Eccles's replies. Also included is a letter dating 12 August 1952 from Editor Halford L. Hoskins reporting on the status of a manuscript for a book to which Mr. Eccles contributed a chapter. The book was apparently never published. Another correspondent was Sidney Hyman, who later wrote a biography, "Marriner S. Eccles: Private Entrepreneur and Public Servant," published in 1977.
