Scan of letters to and from Marriner S. Eccles concerning various speaking engagements in May through July of 1952. Engagements included at the Portland Retail Trade Bureau on May 7, the Portland Committee on Foreign Relations on May 8; and the Baker Chamber of Commerce on May 16; the Idaho Bankers Association meeting at Sun Valley on June 16; a business conference at Stanford University on July 21st. Includes printed programs of the Stanford Business Conferences in 1950, 1951, and 1952. The latter listed the title of Mr. Eccles's speech as "Problems confronting the preservation of capitalistic democracy." These speeches were extemporaneous, and there are no copies of the text.
