Human Resources POI Form by Rebecca Baggett & Caprice Post New process (November) for people who aren't employees but who need access to certain areas. New form (Affiliates/persons of interest) for someone who needs access to systems but NOT PeopleSoft (these individuals need to fill out PAN form). Misha Williams is the contact in HR. An end date is required; default is a year. HR doesn't have a plan to notify departments when an end date is approaching; could make this happen fairly easily if desired. Network Admins can see end dates in the NID tools with delegated access. OIT may run automated reports at a later date. Don't pick OTHER if your person needs services! POIs are for long-term services. gNIDs are short-term (one-two weeks is the longest term for a gNID). Services are evolving; "wireless" includes any plug-in port in classrooms, etc. Form can only be faxed at this time; working for online submission eventually. Health Sciences - authorizing department can be different than the reporting department - important!! Existing affiliates are being transferred over to this system. Let Caprice or Rebecca know if you see issues with the services offered to your affiliate type or if you need another affiliate type. Will be available in ACS's secure LDAP.
