Description "A feminist reimagining of Grimm's fairy tales, featuring Little Red Riding Hood (shown here), Rapunzel, and Snow White. Olive has reinterpreted these classic stories through a modern lens, emphasizing empowerment and resilience. Each character is brought to life with watercolor paintings, meticulously hand embroidered with beads and fabric to add texture and depth. This project merges traditional and contemporary techniques, celebrating both the rich history of these tales and the enduring strenght of their heroines." From the artist. The depiction of red riding hood includes three panels; the wolf disguised, a portrait of little red riding hood, and the severed head of the wolf held up like a trophy. This work was displayed as part of the 2024 Illustration Capstone exhibition.
