A pilot mistakenly landed on the taxi-strip at the Vernal Airport and with wet grass was unable to stop before crashing into the hanger damaging two parked aircraft. The pilot from Salt Lake City was not injured. The two aircrafts damaged were owned by local men, Roger Beckstead and Gib Bennett. |
