Title |
Duplex at 4938-4940 S. Center Street built in 1908 |
Subject |
Murray Historic Registry |
Description |
The Turner and Harley Ross families occupied these duplex homes. Center Street was basically a dirt road behind the business and homes that lined State Street. It appears that most of the homes were built between 1900 and 1910 as the Murray City downtown area developed with the new city hall, the jail and fire station. Ada Wright, c/o Joseph E. Badovinatz owned the duplex in 1971. |
